| Corinne started showing Yallie at the ripe old age of five!!! Corinne has always had a special bond with animals, never interested in dolls or Barbie’s, just born with a passion for animals. Obviously runs in her blood. She started horseback riding lessons at 2 and now rides twice a week, and is quite the horseman. When we got Yallie I could have never in a million years imagined the special bond that would occur between them. Corinne helped me practice and attended confirmation classes, and to be honest I am not sure at what point Corinne took over, but she has!!! She handles Yallie solely at class now, she practices outside, and when the weather is bad we move the furniture and she works with Yallie inside. She has just such a passion and determination when she’s with Yallie. She will tell anyone who asks, her bestest friend is Yallie, and I truly believe that. There’s always been something about Corinne, Yallie just has that special spark in her eyes when she looks at her, there is true devotion there, Yallie is at the door every afternoon when she comes home, she sleeps in Corinne’s bed, she just truly loves her. I have always told Corinne we show for the love of the breed, and because it's fun, not because we need to win. Corinne showed Yallie for the first time, at our Christmas Cluster in Wheaton, Illinois, Corinne was almost 6 and Yallie 9 months, she won Reserve Bitch and Best Puppy, she went on to take a Group 1st Puppy and all the way into the Best in Show ring, what a day, but Corinne will tell you no matter what, “Yallie is always the best dog, because she loves me!!!” Corinne and Yallie have gone on and even shown at the International Kennel Club Show, where they took Reserve Bitch and Best Puppy, at our speciality show, and even made the evening news!!!! As a mom, I just couldn't be prouder of my 2 girls!!!
