Marcosa Havanese is located in Elburn, Illinois just outside Chicago, we strive to raise only happy Havanese, playful Havanese, healthy Havanese and are dedicated to the Havanese breed standard. We raise Havanese and only Havanese. All our Havanese are AKC registered.
It all started when I set out to find a breed, perfect for a family, small in size and one that would love my children until the end of time!!!!
I attended dog shows and researched profusely, before I decided on the Havanese. I loved the Havanese temperament and disposition;
I was determined to have, and show this great breed. I started out with Yallie, a beautiful black and white parti Havanese. She is everything you could ask for in a Havanese, not only is she beautiful, she's a pure delight!!! She's stolen our hearts, especially my children's. We're hooked, and there's no turning back now!!! Who knew something so small would have such a huge impact on our lives?!!
It is Marcosa Havanese's commitment to raise only healthy animals with good temperaments, solid structures and conform to the American Kennel Club standard set forth for the breed; always keeping in mind the betterment of the breed. We believe to preserve the breed, it's our duty, to the best of our ability, to weed out the flaws, and ensure the next generation is better than the last.
Please do not buy your puppy from a pet shop or broker as nearly ALL these
puppies come from a Puppy Mill where adults live in cages every minute of their
lives, are treated only as breeding machines, are not tested for any inherited genetic
defects, and neither adults or puppies are properly socialized. Buy only from reputable
breeders who are breeding to improve the health and quality of their dogs and
who care about the welfare of the dog.
